"a third and final mcfly show in aus 2009. they redeemed themselves with this show. i guess no one is perfect. perfectly mix. again, they are excellent at dealing with the crowd, interacting with them and erm getting someone up on stage to smiff their armpits ? wtf ? lol. now waiting for another 'one for the radio' ;)"

02
artist: McFLY
venue: blue stage

"so, i flew all the way to melbourne specifically to catch a second mcfly show but weren't blown away. what i was disappointed was with the mix. they didn't get it perfect this time. the music were overpowering the vocals. still it was a great show. danny is always the crowd pleaser. the energy these guys have on stage and the effect they have on the crowd is very impressive. could have been perfect tho."

mcfly

HIGHLIGHT
artist: mcfly
venue: the metro
date: 27 feb 2009
sound: rock/pop

"a brave move to leave their record label to form their own label, mcfly put togther a short but a fucking awesome kick ass show. what a experience. i literally left the venue deaf not from the music but from the screaming fans. didn't know people could scream non-stop for over an hour. i guess this is the closest to being at a beatles concert! simply brilliant. what a show. what a performance. every single member interacted and wow-ed the crowd in their own special ways. if you intend to start your own band, go watch them and take notes."

john mellencamp

artist: john mellencamp
venue: acer arena
date: 28 nov 2008
sound: rock/pop

"didn't enjoy his show as much as sheryl's maybe because i don't know any of his stuff or i was still high on sheryl. still i was impressed by his songwriting skills, the stories he told and more amazingly his band. very well put together. he was really good to his fans. some of them came to the front of the stage to take some close-up pix but the security guard came to chase them away and he told the security guard to fuck off. what a man ! there was a moment of bliss when sheryl came out to do a duet with him :)"

"omfg. i waited almost 15 years to see her live and my dream finally came true (who ever said dreams don't come true. didn't wish hard enough!). she is such a fantastic performer. real pro and one hot sexy mama :) she played all her hits and thus, i relived every single moment that i missed in the 90s. only wished she played more of her newer stuff, afterall it is the 'love is free' tour. definitely worth the wait. 1 hour of pure heaven ! now .. back to dreaming .... :p"
